Privacy

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy information we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website.

General

The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (for example name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent. We point out that data transmission on the internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Web server log

For smooth functioning and, if necessary, troubleshooting, websites generally have logs on the web server where IP addresses are stored. Like many other companies, we also operate our website via the servers of a professional service provider. Although IP addresses on their own do not constitute personal data, they could theoretically be assigned to persons with the help of tracking tools. In addition, the time, the browser type and the page accessed are stored. These logs are deleted after one month.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions.

We do not pass on this data without your consent. In this respect, please note our privacy policy.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage. We use cookies to make our offering user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit. If you do not want this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

Google Analytics

On this website we use Google Analytics (GA4), a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google").

Google Analytics enables us to analyse the behaviour of website visitors, for example which pages are accessed, how long they stay and by which routes they reach our website. This information helps us to continuously improve the usability and content of our website.

In doing so, information about the browser and device used, the pages visited, the length of stay, interactions on our website and technical data such as the IP address may be processed, among other things.

The processing and storage of this data by Google takes place in accordance with Google’s privacy provisions. Processing of data outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, in particular in the USA, cannot be ruled out.

Google Analytics is only activated, insofar as consent is required, after your express consent via our cookie banner. The processing is based on your consent. You can revoke consent already given at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings of our website.

Further information on the processing of personal data by Google can be found in Google’s privacy policy.

Fonts

The fonts of this website (Jost and the title face) are stored on our own server and delivered from there. When the page is accessed, no connection is made to servers of font providers such as Adobe Fonts or Google Fonts; no data is transmitted to third parties for this purpose.

Map (OpenStreetMap)

On the contact page we embed a map of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom. When the map tiles are loaded, your IP address is transmitted to the OpenStreetMap servers. The basis is our legitimate interest in making it easier for you to find your way to us. Further information can be found in the privacy policy of the OpenStreetMap Foundation.

SSL encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the enquiries you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Your rights

In principle, you have the rights to information, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Italy, this is the data protection authority “Garante della Privacy”.
